2000 Spring Meeting
Pro-Pro Results

Despite temperatures in the low 40's and a constant drizzle, coupled with a last minute change of venue, 16 members of the Vermont PGA braved the elements for their annual Pro-Pro tournament that traditionally follows the Spring Meeting.  Originally scheduled at Glen Eagles at Equinox, the tournament had to be moved due to the wet conditions.  Bob Stearns of Manchester made some quick phone calls and the tournament was moved over to Manchester Country Club.  Teams consisted of 4 pros playing two best balls of the foursome - nassau format (front, back and total).  The winning team, which won all three ways, consisted of Host Professional Bob Stearns, Dave Rihm (Stratton), Greg Loniewski (Sugarbush) and Dave Pfannenstein (Killington).  The team shot a 68 on the front, 71 on the back, with a total 139.

This event kicks off the 2000 VPGA tournament schedule, with the first Pro-Am scheduled for next Monday, May 1st at Neshobe Country Club.  Click on the Tournament Schedule Page to find out more about this event.
