2003 Junior Golf Clinics

The
Killington Golf Course held a Junior Golf Clinic on August 19, 2003
that was attended by approximately 40 young golfers-to-be! The
young golfers were divided into groups by age and experience and
rotated through several teaching "stations",
learning the basics of the long shot, shorter pitch shots, chipping
and putting. After the stations, each group went out on the
golf course to play a hole. Afterwards, each golfer received a
VermontPGA Junior Tour visor, refreshments and a Ben & Jerry's
Ice Cream Bar! Thanks to the following members of the Vermont PGA for providing the opportunity for these young people to learn more about golf and have some fun while doing so! Dave Christy, Jeff Hadley, Bill Chilkott and Dave Pfannenstein
