About the VPGA

Mission

The Vermont Professional Golfers Association was established in 1965.  It was incorporated into a Charter Member of the New England Professional Golfers Association in 1982.  It functions under the guidelines of the New England PGA..  The Vermont Chapter is directed by a five member Executive Committee.   The Vermont Chapter stages over 25 events each year.  In addition to weekly pro-am events the Chapter hosts the Vermont Professional Stroke Play Championship and the Vermont Professional Match Play Championship. 

Over 50 members comprise the Vermont Chapter, which includes P.G.A. members and apprentices. These members direct the activities of over 30 golf courses throughout Vermont.

The Vermont Chapter members and Executive committee are very committed to promoting the game of golf. We aim to serve the golfing public with dedication and professionalism.   As a Chapter representing the PGA. of America, we want to make your golf game better and make golf a better game.
