About the
Course
|
Crown Point
has
become one of the more popular courses to play in Vermont. Having spent several
years as a "hidden gem", Crown Point has become well-known throughout the state
and New England and is considered a fair but challenging track to play.
This William Mitchell layout is a serious golf course
with enough challenge and design diversity to appeal to everyone. It possesses a feel
which is uniquely its own. The view from the fourteenth green will make you want to
pitch a tent and stay for a few days. Hole number 9 is a delightfully beautiful par 3
which crosses over an idyllic pond to a small, bankside green. It is deceptively
difficult. The eighteenth is a masterpiece of "grandstand" finishing holes. If
you are bashful, pick up on eighteen. |
