About the Course
|
Golfers of all skill levels will thoroughly enjoy this exciting new golf
course in its wooded setting in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. With
stunning, views of Jay Peak and the Green Mountains, majestic, mature trees,
lush, bent-grass fairways and mildly undulating greens, this Graham Cooke
designed golf course will thrill beginners and seasoned players alike.
Built within 300
acres, Jay Peak Resort Golf and Country Club features 5 sets of tees
at each hole and makes allowances for all levels of play by adjusting the
angle and length of the course from 5,000 yards to nearly 7,000 yards.
The much anticipated first nine holes opened in June 2006. This portion of
the course is just east of the base area of Jay Peak Mountain and extends
down the valley over the Jay Branch Brook.
The back nine holes opened in 2007 and run up into the West Bowl area,
opening views of the mountain never before seen. |
